So, the other night, after a rampant day of work, school, and overwhelming amounts of busy, I received a phone call that made everything just stop. Robb & Stucky contacted me to inform me that despite all time I had spent arranging my internship with them, was now no more. Slightly relieved considering the energy it took thus far, but I just couldn't fathom what had happened or how I was going to make up for a month and a half. So, yesterday I spoke with Dr. B regarding my options, and she seemed lenient on allowing me to work on my portfolio for hours, along with contributing around the campus. This was good news to me because then when the time does come about, I'll be readily equipped with an amazing portfolio.
As for today, I was supposed to go house hunting but some obstacles arose as usual. Though, some windows definitely opened metaphorically.
Then off to my final chiropractor visit. Still in a lot of pain, but no one else seems to think so.
And depending on any responses from Susan Morgan, I may head north to put in some hours with Cherise, or retreat home to work on some homework.
Hopefully, I'll end my day with an interview with Susna Morgan regarding the profession.
Though, my actual day cap will consist of more homework;
- Interview Q & A
- Drywall Presentation
- Portfolio
- Business Plan
Alas, I must depart onto said events.
Just interesting how what seems like defeat, is turning into opportunity.
