Semester's coming to a close...

So my days are numbered with the fall semester & I have quite the agenda remaining for both my Commercial class as well as my Technical Design.
I have at least [2] more drawings in my Tech class for the 'Morelia Residence' aka 'my house.'

With my time limited & my stress in excess, pulling this off [to my liking] should be quite the challenge.

ME...as a Chair

I'm currently trying to get inspired to design a chair, that's 'Me.'
I've just looked at alot of chairs, but I don't want to just create a chair, that's already there.
So what is it that interests me;

• Comfort


• Bright Colors

What does it all mean?!
The reason I'm doing this, besides trying to spark my inner 'Designer,'
is due to an upcoming contest [not that my goal is to win].

Speaking in my other language [nearly binary] - Design!

After a 7 hour stint yesterday, along with the plethora of other time & energy spent, I produced some fairly decent space planning layouts for my Commercial Design project re: Dual Pediatric Office [1A].
I really need to document my hours on my timesheet & just try to keep track of my time spent.
That project isn't done, & neither is my Technical Design project [my house].
After some errands out in the Florida sun [get my serotonin going], I'll retreat to my [unfinished] office area where I'll break my neck sketching the floorplan for my house.
Afterwards, some quality time with my friend, 1A.

How exciting!
I may be getting my groove back.

Commerical Interior Design

Tonight was a neck breaking display of bathroom commercial bathroom sketches & the spacing needed for them. We also presented our homework for grading.
Backing up, I've spent the last 24 hours [less 5 hours of work] on trying to forge a reputable commercial space based on the criteria matrix developed for the Pediatric Office [1A].
I learned two critical things: don't wait until last minute for design & familiarize myself with the updated version of AutoCAD. The latter relies heavily on the first.
My next assignment is to refine my haphazard 2B block diagrams.
I'll be doing so after working on Technical Design homework whose time frame is approaching sooner.
I need to document my time spent to continue the habit, which is what initially lead me here, but I think I'll stick to good ol' Excel instead.

House Reno + School

Operation Garage Renovation has been underway for the past 3 days. By this time next week, everything should finished & back in place. With the addition of a tankless water heater, more outlets, & lighting, as well as the relocation of the washer & dryer to the exterior wall, alot of work has been done!

Otherwise, tonight I have my Commercial Interior Design class. I need to finish up some homework for the class involving a Criteria Matrix. Though, I'm not sure how many more on the spot spaces I can design. Hopefully tonight I'll be more productive.
