And the results are in...
Though reluctantly, I've commenced my simultaneous dance of practicum, materials, & business.
Feels as though I'll never be done / can't do enough. And not in a bad way. There's just so much to contribute. Including this blog which I'm referencing on my Business / Practicum (website / portfolio).
The Neverending Story.
After some anticipation, my awaiting project presentations are...
Week 6
2/9 - 2/11
Student report #2: Bamboo AS A BUILDING MATERIAL
Week 8
2/23 - 2/25
Student reports#10 Gypsum wallboard
As well as...
Week 12
3/26 [Thursday]
Interview a local kitchen designer in your area! (Not a box store) Bring for round table discussion Tuesday or presentation by sales rep (pending verification)
WRITTEN REPORT COUNTS AS EXAMINATION
Week 17
4/27
Presentation of fabricated projects not yet presented
Final day to submit electronic resource files
So, after the recent incident with my car versus an inanimate object, I've figured I would try to incorporate my shattered window as part of my fabricated ' green' project. Not entirely sure how yet.
Still building my e-resource file. My 2 projects [yay for bamboo!] will contribute to that as well as other student projects.
I finished my rough draft version of my resume and forwarded it to my professor first. Then, post-approval, I'll start sending it to local[?] design firms for my internship. All the while, I've been building up my website/portfolio/everything, though its severly under construction still.
I've also been logging some hours for my business class by developing all these things, trying to highlight my initial budget.
I digress considering I now must use my super speed to run some much needed errands.
Including, but not limited to;
Eating
Obtain vet records
See 2nd opinion vet
Fill out / drop off incident report for my Mazda
Pick up boyfriend from work [since I have his car]
Help friend with 'decorating' his new house
/Fin

Design VS Wife Swap
As all consuming as it may be to entertain myself with Lifetime's 'Wife Swap,' I'm trying my hardest to focus my energies towards design related indulgences.
Such as developing my electronic resource, finding an internship opportunity, and building my office up.
In Practicum, I have to plot out some hours to log, including finding internship prospects. This is of course after I revise my resume, which in turn will aid my portfolio development.
Then there's my Materials course which includes creating my electronic resource library, which again will double as a prelude to my 2 powerpoint presentations.
Followed closely by my Business class which entails my entire arrangement of my business plan and starting up my out-of-home office. So far, I've narrowed my skills down to renovating abandoned structures. Though, I have alot of thought to put into this.
Anyhow, a quick jog around the block with one of my pups, and hopefully that will spark my creative motivation.

Motivation, please be with me
Not the best start to my new year let alone my new semester.
Harley Girl, my oldest Chow, is on the verge of passing. My mind is elsewhere.
My first day was a blur.
Though, I did try to focus my energy on reestablishing my office later that night for my business class.
Just ended in the floor being layered in a disheveled mess.
Need to finish.
I'm just sitting around, cold and uninspired.
Worried about my dog.
=(
